Clery Disclosure Report

The California State University, Los Angeles Annual Security Report includes statistics for the previous three calendar years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus, in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by California State University, Los Angeles and on public property immediately adjacent to and accessible from the campus, according to the requirements of the federal Jeanne Clery Act.

The Clery guidelines, which were designed to bring parity to all university crime-reporting nationally, specify which incidents are reported. Complete records of crimes reported in the City of Los Angeles adjacent to campus are available through the Los Angeles Police Department database at http://www.lapdonline.org/crime_mapping_and_compstat.

The report also includes institutional policies concerning campus security, such as policies related to alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault and other matters.  It is available online as both a PDF file and HTML web pages. You may download the complete, printable, PDF brochure to your computer using Adobe Acrobat Reader. If you are unable to access the on-line report you may also request a paper copy by contacting the Office of the Clery Director located at 5151 State University Drive, Student Services Building Room 6303.
